Some of this is very true.

Hi Chyera, you are a pragmatic hand type. Being practical, all your decisions are rational and well thought over. You are extremely self-assured, levelheaded and dynamic. Consistency in approach marks the fulfillment of your ambitions. But this regimen-approach sometimes kills the fun.

Your index finger is short. This makes you a dependable team player. A position of command is not for you. But you do have a keen eye for detail. You can be impulsive; not all your moves are quite rational. Look out! Stress could get the better of you. Your index finger being longer than your ring finger points to you being realistic but aggressive at the same time. Yet, you are not able to stand your ground at times. Your sense of judgement is finely balanced. Your middle finger being longer than the adjoining fingers in length signifies an even view towards life. You are extremely organised; seldom ever do you 'come apart' in any situation. You seem to have all stages of your life worked out to the last detail, and possess an unbiased and sagacious personality. You evaluate and analyse all your actions towards achieving your goals in life and get there through sheer dedication and will power. Your ring finger does not reach the base of the nail of your middle finger. You make an excellent team player and are able to operate effectively from a blueprint. Try to use your imagination more often. Your little finger is set evenly at the base with the middle finger. The scrupulousness in your personality is your finest asset. It leads you to take rational decisions. Your little finger reaches above the first flexure line (joint) of your ring finger. You have the gift of the gab and can talk endlessly - all you need is a listening partner.

You have a long life and will live to up to about 70. You attach a lot of importance to customs and rituals. You prefer constancy and stability to change. You are deeply attached to your home.

Your head line touches your line of life. You are an extremely conservative person. All innovation is deplorable; you stick resolutely to what you learned during your 'growing up' years. Make sure you don't offend or suffocate others with your fixed ways. Your headline has a single ending. Your analysis is generally biased as your mind is closed to looking at all facets of an issue. No other individual can influence your thoughts. Your headline is medium straight. You are a highly rational individual. You are thought oriented and never act before thinking it through.

You are a completely transparent person. You have no inhibitions in sharing your innermost feelings with others. You are mature and non-judgemental, accepting people just as they are. A fast-paced life is not or you.

You are highly imaginative and prefer to live in your own dream world. A word of caution - ensure that you don't lose touch with reality.

I have a rather frightening new obsession...singers who speak languages I can't understand. There's this Turkish group called Hepsi and their music videos amuse me. ;) I like their music too, but maybe that's because I'm a sucker for anything mildly pop-ish. And Gülçin is the Turkish Christina Aguilera, I'm thoroughly convinced.

Here we have "Kalpsizin"(Heartless You = rough translation) It's amazing just how many cultures are in this video...and you gotta love the voodoo. ;)

And another song called "Herşeye Rağmen"(Don't know what that one means... although it's pronounced Hershay Raaman) You have to love Turkish with their letter ş. It's so cool *nerd*. :D
My God, it's snowing so hard out there. They're calling it the "Great Valentine's Day Blizzard of '07". It is just nonstop. Here's a pic. Ignore the screen window. ;)

This picture doesn't even begin to do it justice. There is more than 2 feet of snow.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Since I'm bored and stuck in my house on Valentine's Day, let's talk about my favorite subject!
Some people have been asking me why I'm so into languages and how I learned them. Well, in the order I've learned...
1) Hello! How are you? - English
Fluency = Reading - 100%, Speaking - 100%
English. My "first" language. English is boring... ;) Although it probably is the most universal language of all. That's pretty cool. Ever notice how people in other countries if someone learns english as a second language they're impressed? But if it's your first one they tend to not like you as much?
2) Здрaвствуйте! Как делa? – Русский
Fluency = Reading - 80%, Speaking - 80%
Russian. My other "first" language. I learned it along with English, but I don't use it as much. Rarely, in fact. But I can speak it okay. ;) I can read cyrillic too, but it takes some time for me.
3) ¡Hola! ¿Cómo estás? – Español
Fluency = Reading - 70%, Speaking - 50%
Spanish. I love Spanish. :) I really do. My interest started when I met a boy in Mexico when I was about 7. He wasn't hispanic, but still spoke fluent Spanish and English. I was jealous. Since then, I've been determined to master it. I've taken classes for as long as I can remember, pretty much. My speaking can use some work, but I understand most of what I read or hear.
4) 안녕하십니까?" – 한국어
Fluency = Reading - 2%, Speaking - 0%
Korean. I was bored over the summer, and decided to click on a link to learn Korean. ;) I can't say or understand anymore then "Hello, my name is..." I can read it, though, which is always a plus. :D I'm not that interested in really learning it.
5) こんにちは! 元気ですか? -日本語
Fluency = Reading - 35%, Speaking - 30%
Japanese. No, I'm not interested in it because of anime or whatever. I don't think I've ever watched an anime in my life. But anyway, I'd love to get good at Japanese. It's really fun. ;) I can read hiragana and a bunch of kanji, but katakana kills me...don't know why. Maybe I could go to Japan someday...that'd be nice. *daydreams*
The hardest part for me isn't really the writing, which I know scares a lot of people off, it's the sentence structure. Instead of going subject-verb-object, like English, it goes subject-object-verb. For example, in English, a sentence would be like "Joe reads the newspaper." But in Japanese, it would be "Joe newspaper reads." Well, if the Japanese can do it...
6) Bonjour! Ça va? – Français
Fluency = Reading - 5%, Speaking - 2%
French. I hate to admit it, but I want to learn French. Badly. I plan on taking it next year, along with Spanish, of course. ;) My excuse for never taking it was because I "couldn't pronounce anything". Well, it turns out I am VERY good at pronouncing it. Who'd of thought that? My interest was sparked when I met these 2 French girls in the Dominican Republic and they couldn't understand me. Made me a little mad.
7) Merhaba! Nasılsınız? - Türkçe
I love the way Turkish sounds, but I really don't care to learn it. *shrugs*
Yay for longest post ever!
She was scared and kept telling me so. I told her to tell them off or push them and give them a mean look. This is what she did, she was just like "Well, that's it!" and climbed under the table.
